Samantha has worked in administration and customer service for the last seven years and recently earned her diploma in Business Administration Management at NSCC. As a client care coordinator, Samantha loves connecting with clients and providing a warm, safe environment for everyone. Outside of work, she spends her time gardening, listening to podcasts, and enjoying quality time with her partner and daughter.

Peter Stuart has been a practicing Massage Therapist since graduating from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1993. He started his teaching career in the field in 1994, started working in chronic pain rehabilitation as a facilitator and researcher in 1996, and has been practicing myofascial release therapy since 1998.
Peter combines his unique take on working specifically with fascial restrictions and the myriad of symptoms they create, combined with his understanding of chronic dysfunction, and finds this lends well to working in a collaborative group dynamic that is offered at Apex Orthopeadic Rehabilitation.

Pascale is a 2018 graduate of ICT Northumberland College in Halifax and is a registered member in good standing with MTANS. She previously received her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at StFX University, where she also played on the women’s varsity hockey team. She is fluent in both English and French.
Pascale has practical knowledge in treating conditions such as; Whiplash, Strains/Sprains, Postural Imbalances, Tension Headaches, Pre/post-operative care, among others. She utilizes general Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, hydrotherapy, myofascial release, active/passive release during her treatment sessions. She is also certified in Rapid Neurofascial Reset, cupping, and guasha, and will incorporate these in treatments when appropriate.

Meghan has been a licensed Occupational Therapist in the Province of Nova Scotia since graduating in 2016 with a Masters’ of Science in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University. Previously she has also received a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Acadia University in 2011. Her Professional affiliations consist of registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia (COTNS) and the Canadian Associate of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
Since graduating in 2016, she worked for pt Healthcare Solutions, as a full time occupational therapist, and subsequently manager of pt Health Elmsdale clinic, as well as senior hiring occupational therapist for pt Health Atlantic Canada. In February 2020, transitioned to working with small locally-owned clinics – travelling throughout the province of Nova Scotia to provide OT services for rural Nova Scotians.
Meghan has significant clinical and community experience with Return to Work Planning, Job Site Visits, Home Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, personal care assessments, goal setting, pain management, private orthopaedic rehabilitation, and energy conservation techniques, working with the adult population. She also received formal training in completing Matheson Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) in 2017. At Apex Orthopaedic Rehabilitation she works closely with Dr. Ivan Wong and the interdisciplinary team to provide the above services for pre- and post- surgical patients.
Occupational therapists use their knowledge of the human body and a whole person approach to help their clients. Meghan’s goal in her occupational therapy practice is to assist clients to participate in their meaningful activities, and she strives to create meaningful therapeutic relationships with her clients through listening to their history, validating their experience, and assisting with their goals. She also takes pride in creating and cultivating professional interdisciplinary relationships with various clinicians and physicians throughout the province of Nova Scotia. When she isn’t working, you can find Meghan teaching Spin classes, running, exploring local Nova Scotia culture and cuisine, and spending time with family and friends.
Jennifer graduated from the College of Massage and Hydrotherapy as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2011, and began working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic. She worked closely with a number of practitioners, treating patients for post surgical, post trauma and sport related injuries. During this time she was able to experience many different avenues of patient rehabilitation and became very interested in furthering her ability to help patients. She began working with OrthoFit Atlantic in 2016 as an Orthopedic Bracing and Product Specialist, specializing in pre surgical education and post-surgical products. Then in 2018 she also joined the Apex team, taking on the role as Surgical Patient Coordinator.
When she is not working she is always on the move, she is kept very busy with her three children!

Gina Nair graduated from Georgian College Barrie, ON in 2018 as a Physiotherapist Assistant and Occupational therapist Assistant (PTA/OTA). Gina attended her final clinical placement at Barrie Physiotherapy, where she began her career as a PTA, post graduation. Gina has spent the majority of her time working with post surgical patients, providing exercise programs to improve range of motion and strength during their recovery. She also has ample experience in workplace injuries; worked closely with the PT in various return to work programs. Currently, she has been a part of the Apex team for over a year, working closely with the PT in several post surgical recoveries. In her spare time, Gina likes to hike with her dog, travel and go camping in the woods.

Elin is a Registered Massage Therapist who has been working with the Apex team since graduating from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2020. Since graduation Elin has been trained in Deep Tissue Massage, Relaxation, Trigger Point Release, General Swedish Massage, Relaxation Massage and Therapeutic Massage. Elin also has additional specialized training in Cupping and Myofascial Release Therapy. Elin’s passion for her work and dedication to her patients shines through her commitment to helping individuals navigate their rehabilitation journeys.
Elin grew up in Halifax and has a 1 year old daughter. In her spare time Elin enjoys fitness and weight training. Fun fact – Elin is a Red Seal electrician by trade.
The newest member of the Apex team, Daniel graduated from Dalhousie University in 2020 with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
Daniel grew up in Germany before relocating to Truro, Nova Scotia with his family at the age of 17. After completing his final year of high school, Daniel moved to Halifax to attend Dalhousie where he studied Kinesiology and worked as a personal trainer.
Since becoming a physiotherapist, Daniel has excelled in working alongside the multidisciplinary team at Apex to provide holistic and comprehensive care to all of his patients. Daniel believes that being a life-long learner is the most valuable asset in the physiotherapy profession.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys living an active lifestyle, reading and spending quality time with his friends and family.
Chantel began her time with Apex in October of 2021 and has quickly become a valuable member of our clinic family. Along with nearly a decade’s worth of customer service experience, Chantel graduated from NSCC in May of 2020 and received her diploma from the Office Administration and Medical Terminology program.
Chantel is an avid traveller and in her spare time loves to go adventuring. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
